2Impact is a scale-up led by Esther and Nishant, founded out of a desire to contribute to the sustainability of the business sector.
What sets 2Impact apart is the combination of idealism and realism.
We focus on what organizations need now and how we can best support them with our years of expertise. In the market, we initially identified a strong need for support and guidance in sustainability reporting. It soon became clear that this was intrinsically linked to the organization's strategy and its implementation. From this realization, 2Impact developed its integrated approach, helping clients with strategy development, implementation, and reporting. Our teams specialize in areas such as strategy & reporting, climate and nature, EU Taxonomy, and social sustainability.
We believe in building long-term relationships with our clients. With most of them, we collaborate year-round. Our client portfolio includes publicly listed companies as well as other large organizations, spanning various sectors. We co-develop tailored solutions with our clients to address their challenges, often in collaboration with complementary partners, such as software providers.

Our team is diverse in every sense—ranging from entry-level professionals to seasoned experts, across various ages and nationalities (including colleagues from the Netherlands, India, Sweden, and Germany). As a result, English is our primary working language, complemented by Dutch, depending on the client. Our culture is multicultural and international, with a Rotterdam twist: no-nonsense and action oriented. Above all, it’s personal. The Job 😊
As a Managing Consultant, you will lead a team of consultants and guide them through a variety of projects, such as:
• Conducting double materiality analyses
• Performing CSRD gap analyses
• Developing CSRD implementation plans (roadmaps)
• Supporting clients during CSRD implementation
• Drafting annual or sustainability reports
• Advising on ratings and benchmarks
• Setting up processes and controls for sustainability data
• Managing data collection within organizations
• Implementing CSRD software for clients, e.g., for measuring GHG emissions
Additional Responsibilities Managing Consultant:
• Mentoring junior, medior, and senior consultants (both professionally and personally)
• Preparing proposals and quotes for (potential) clients
• Staying up to date with market developments
• Developing new propositions, services, or training programs related to reporting, climate & nature, or social topics
A Day at 2Impact
No two days are the same! Here’s an idea of what your day might look like:
• Updating project planning across various assignments
• Delivering a client presentation to secure a new project
• Team meetings to align on project deliverables
• Weekly progress check-ins with a client
• One-on-one mentoring with a medior consultant
• Developing a content plan for a sustainability report
• Reviewing part of a sustainability declaration and preparing recommendations
• Leading a stakeholder interview
• Hosting a "share and learn" session for your colleagues
• Collaborating with a business partner to implement reporting software
• Co-hosting a CSRD training with one of your team members
• Representing 2Impact at an event like CSRD Day
What Do We Look For?
• A completed academic degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience (e.g., as a consultant, accountant, or advisor at a large organization)
• Fluent Dutch is required for this position
• In-depth knowledge of one or more of our core themes: climate & nature or human rights
• Familiarity with reporting standards and regulations (GRI, TCFD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GHG, SBTi)
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative sustainability data reporting and validation
• Passion for sustainability
• A proactive, practical, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to co-develop tailored solutions with clients
• Enjoyment in leading teams and fostering collaboration
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High energy, ambition, and adaptability in a dynamic, socially relevant work field
