Internship EU Taxonomy best practices

(Dutch/English speaking)

At 2Impact we support our clients from creating their sustainability vision all the way to publishing their report. We work for large listed as well as non-listed companies in different sectors. They value us for our knowledge, practical advice, and the way we collaborate with them.

We are currently looking for an intern “EU Taxonomy best practices” to help us analyse the latest developments in EU Taxonomy reporting. The EU Taxonomy is the European Commission’s framework to assess what business activities can be classified as sustainable. This spring more companies will report on the EU Taxonomy as they fall under the scope of the CSRD, and we would like to dive deeper into their published reports to identify best practices.

What will you be doing?

As an intern on EU Taxonomy best practices, you will be researching best practices of EU Taxonomy reporting in the new wave of annual reports.

While and after doing your research, you will:

  • Work closely with our consultants and research specific questions they have regarding best practices of EU Taxonomy reporting.
  • Prepare your findings and present them to the 2Impact team.
  • Your research will be used as input for a publication that will be used to inspire our clients and other interested companies.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a master’s student in a programme related to sustainability.
  • Has an interest in annual reporting, and specifically sustainability reporting.
  • Has a feeling for language and visuals, and an eye for details.
  • Can communicate and present research findings in an insightful way.
  • Wants to support a growing consultancy firm with passion to create sustainable impact.
  • You can be both Dutch-speaking or English-speaking, but a professional level of the English language is strongly valued.

What do we offer?

As an intern at 2Impact, we offer you:

  • The chance to gain valuable experience and insights in EU Taxonomy best practices.
  • To be part of a nice team and learn from colleagues with expertise in various fields of sustainability, from measuring climate change to sustainability reporting and human rights due diligence.
  • The opportunity to use this internship for your studies, if desirable. You could for example write your Master’s thesis.
  • The possibility to get familiar with the work of a sustainability consultancy.
  • Compensation for your work in the internship.
  • A comfortable working space in our office at the CIC, very close to the Rotterdam Central Station.

Diversity at 2Impact

At 2Impact we strive to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute. We embrace the unique experiences and perspectives that people from all backgrounds bring to our team, and we actively work to ensure equality in our recruitment practices and growth opportunities. We believe that a diverse workforce enhances our creativity, innovation, and success.

When and where?

From the moment companies start to publish their annual reports over 2024, researching best practices can start. That means that we would like you to start in March 2025, for around 3 months. Preferably, you are available for 32 to 40 hours a week. Our office is located in the Groothandelsgebouw, close to the Rotterdam Central Station.
